स नो ऽपृच्छद् दुःखमूलम् उक्तवत्यो वयं च तत् ॥
श्रुत्वा तच् च यथावृत्तम् इदं वचनम् अब्रवीत् ॥
दक्षिणे सागरानूपे पञ्च तीर्थानि सन्ति वै ॥
पुण्यानि रमणीयानि तानि गच्छत माचिरम् ॥
तत्राशु पुरुषव्याघ्रः पाण्डवो वो धनंजयः ॥
मोक्षयिष्यति शुद्धात्मा दुःखाद् अस्मान् न संशयः ॥
sa no 'pṛcchad duḥkhamūlam uktavatyo vayaṃ ca tat ||
śrutvā tac ca yathāvṛttam idaṃ vacanam abravīt ||
dakṣiṇe sāgarānūpe pañca tīrthāni santi vai ||
puṇyāni ramaṇīyāni tāni gacchata māciram ||
tatrāśu puruṣavyāghraḥ pāṇḍavo vo dhanaṃjayaḥ ||
mokṣayiṣyati śuddhātmā duḥkhād asmān na saṃśayaḥ ||
"He asked us the root of our grief, and we told him all; having heard it as it had happened, he spoke these words: 'On the southern seashore there are five tirthas, holy and delightful; go there without delay; there soon the tiger among men, the Pandava Dhananjaya, pure of soul, will deliver you from your grief — of this there is no doubt.'"

Here the saint points the suffering toward the path to their deliverer. It is significant that Narada names Arjuna as deliverer in advance: one who knows perceives what is to come and directs toward salvation. The guide shows the soul the way to its deliverer. Thus the scripture reveals Narada's foresight; and what he foretold will come to pass exactly.
