तस्य सर्वा वयं वीर श्रुत्वा वाक्यम् इहागताः ॥
तद् इदं सत्यम् एवाद्य मोक्षिताहं त्वयानघ ॥
एतास् तु मम वै सख्यश् चतस्रो ऽन्या जले स्थिताः ॥
कुरु कर्म शुभं वीर एताः सर्वा विमोक्षय ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
tasya sarvā vayaṃ vīra śrutvā vākyam ihāgatāḥ ||
tad idaṃ satyam evādya mokṣitāhaṃ tvayānagha ||
etās tu mama vai sakhyaś catasro 'nyā jale sthitāḥ ||
kuru karma śubhaṃ vīra etāḥ sarvā vimokṣaya ||

Translation
"Having heard his word, all of us, O hero, came here; and now this indeed has proved true: I have been delivered by you, O blameless one; but these four other companions of mine are still in the water; perform this good deed, O hero, deliver them all."

Here the one delivered cares also for her companions. It is significant that Varga, having gained her freedom, immediately pleads for her fellows: true gratitude is not selfish but merciful toward others. One who has received mercy longs to share it. Thus the scripture reveals Varga's kindness of heart; and Arjuna is called upon to complete the deliverance.
