वैशंपायन उवाच
ततस् ताः पाण्डवश्रेष्ठः सर्वा एव विशां पते ॥
तस्माच् छापाद् अदीनात्मा मोक्षयाम् आस वीर्यवान् ॥
उत्थाय च जलात् तस्मात् प्रतिलभ्य वपुः स्वकम् ॥
तास् तदाप्सरसो राजन्न् अदृश्यन्त यथा पुरा ॥

tatas tāḥ pāṇḍavaśreṣṭhaḥ sarvā eva viśāṃ pate ||
tasmāc chāpād adīnātmā mokṣayām āsa vīryavān ||
utthāya ca jalāt tasmāt pratilabhya vapuḥ svakam ||
tās tadāpsaraso rājann adṛśyanta yathā purā ||

Translation
Vaishampayana said: "Then the best of the Pandavas, undespairing of spirit and valiant, delivered them all, O lord of men, from that curse; and rising from that water and regaining their own forms, those apsarases then, O king, appeared as before."

Here the hero completes the work of deliverance. It is significant that Arjuna delivers all five: one who does good does not leave the deed half done. Herein lies the fullness of mercy that carries deliverance through to its end. Thus the scripture reveals a completed salvation; and the cursed, rising from the waters, regain their former radiant form.
