प्रासादै रत्नचित्रैश् च गिरेस् तस्य समन्ततः ॥
स देशः शोभितो राजन् दीपवृक्षैश् च सर्वशः ॥
वादित्राणि च तत्र स्म वादकाः समवादयन् ॥
ननृतुर् नर्तकाश् चैव जगुर् गानानि गायनाः ॥

sa deśaḥ śobhito rājan dīpavṛkṣaiś ca sarvaśaḥ ||
vāditrāṇi ca tatra sma vādakāḥ samavādayan ||
nanṛtur nartakāś caiva jagur gānāni gāyanāḥ ||

Here earthly festivity shines like the celestial. It is significant that the mountain is adorned with palaces and lights: the Yadavas' festival reflects a splendor from above. The city of the Lord reveals wondrous beauty even in its revelry. Thus scripture shows the brilliance of the celebration; and within it a meeting pleasing to the Lord will take place.
