तदा कोलाहले तस्मिन् वर्तमाने महाशुभे ॥
वासुदेवश् च पार्थश् च सहितौ परिजग्मतुः ॥
तत्र चङ्क्रम्यमाणौ तौ वासुदेवसुतां शुभाम् ॥
अलंकृतां सखीमध्ये भद्रां ददृशतुस् तदा ॥

vāsudevaś ca pārthaś ca sahitau parijagmatuḥ ||
tatra caṅkramyamāṇau tau vāsudevasutāṃ śubhām ||
alaṃkṛtāṃ sakhīmadhye bhadrāṃ dadṛśatus tadā ||

Translation

Here inseparable friends meet together what is destined. It is significant that it is Krishna and Arjuna, walking side by side, who see Subhadra: the Lord Himself brings his friend to the one who will become his wife. Meetings are arranged by the Lord's will. Thus scripture shows the beginning of a new union; and Krishna himself is the architect of Arjuna's happiness.
