तथैवाप्सरसो राजन् गन्धर्वाश् च मनोरमाः ॥
नृत्यवादित्रगीतैश् च हास्यैश् च विविधैर् अपि ॥
रमयन्ति स्म नृपते देवराजं शतक्रतुम् ॥
स्तुतिभिर् मङ्गलैश् चैव स्तुवन्तः कर्मभिस् तथा ॥
विक्रमैश् च महात्मानं बलवृत्रनिषूदनम् ॥

tathaivāpsaraso rājan gandharvāś ca manoramāḥ ||
nṛtyavāditragītaiś ca hāsyaiś ca vividhair api ||
ramayanti sma nṛpate devarājaṃ śatakratum ||
stutibhir maṅgalaiś caiva stuvantaḥ karmabhis tathā ||
vikramaiś ca mahātmānaṃ balavṛtraniṣūdanam ||

Translation

"So too the apsaras, O king, and the enchanting gandharvas delight the king of the gods, Shatakratu, with dance, music, song and jests of every kind; with hymns and benedictions they praise the great-souled one, the slayer of Bala and Vritra, [singing of his] deeds and valor."
