ततो निश्चक्रमुर् देवा वेपमाना नताः स्म तम् ॥
पुनश् च संदधे दीप्तं देवानां निशितं शरम् ॥
रुद्रस्य यज्ञभागं च विशिष्टं ते न्व् अकल्पयन् ॥
भयेन त्रिदशा राजञ् शरणं च प्रपेदिरे ॥
तेन चैवातिकोपेन स यज्ञः संधितस् तदा ॥
यत्ताश् चापि सुरा आसन् यत्ताश् चाद्यापि तं प्रति ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

tato niścakramur devā vepamānā natāḥ sma tam ||
punaś ca saṃdadhe dīptaṃ devānāṃ niśitaṃ śaram ||
rudrasya yajñabhāgaṃ ca viśiṣṭaṃ te nv akalpayan ||
bhayena tridaśā rājañ śaraṇaṃ ca prapedire ||
tena caivātikopena sa yajñaḥ saṃdhitas tadā ||
yattāś cāpi surā āsan yattāś cādyāpi taṃ prati ||

Translation

"Then the gods withdrew, trembling, having bowed before him; and again he fitted a blazing arrow, sharpened against the gods. And they appointed Rudra's share in the sacrifice as a special one; out of fear the thirty [gods], O king, took refuge [in him]. And thereby, despite [his] excessive wrath, that sacrifice was then restored; the gods were on their guard, and remain on their guard before him even to this day."
