ततो ऽभिगम्य त्वरिता पूर्णेन्दुसदृशानना ॥
ववन्दे द्रौपदीं भद्रा प्रेष्याहम् इति चाब्रवीत् ॥
प्रत्युत्थाय च तां कृष्णा स्वसारं माधवस्य ताम् ॥
सस्वजे चावदत् प्रीता निःसपत्नो ऽस्तु ते पतिः ॥
तथैव मुदिता भद्रा ताम् उवाचैवम् अस्त्व् इति ॥
tato 'bhigamya tvaritā pūrṇendusadṛśānanā ||
vavande draupadīṃ bhadrā preṣyāham iti cābravīt ||
pratyutthāya ca tāṃ kṛṣṇā svasāraṃ mādhavasya tām ||
sasvaje cāvadat prītā niḥsapatno 'stu te patiḥ ||
tathaiva muditā bhadrā tām uvācaivam astv iti ||
Subhadra said: "Then, approaching quickly, her face like the full moon, Bhadra bowed to Draupadi and said: 'I am your servant'; and rising to meet her, Krishna embraced that sister of Madhava and said, pleased: 'May your husband be without a rival!'; just as joyfully Bhadra said to her: 'So be it.'"

Here the humility of the younger wife gives birth to the elder's love. It is telling that Subhadra, a princess and Krishna's sister, calls herself Draupadi's "servant" — and Draupadi embraces her with a blessing: humility melts jealousy and turns rivalry into sisterhood. In this, meekness proves the surest path to harmony in a household. So Scripture reveals a model of concord between co-wives; and Draupadi's blessing seals their heartfelt bond.
