तथा तेषु विषक्तेषु सैन्येषु जयगृद्धिषु ॥
अर्जुनो वासुदेवश् च सैन्धवायैव जग्मतुः ॥
रथमार्गप्रमाणं तु कौन्तेयो निशितैः शरैः ॥
चकार तत्र पन्थानं ययौ येन जनार्दनः ॥
यत्र यत्र रथो याति पाण्डवस्य महात्मनः ॥
तत्र तत्रैव दीर्यन्ते सेनास् तव विशां पते ॥

tathā teṣu viṣakteṣu sainyeṣu jayagṛddhiṣu ||
arjuno vāsudevaś ca saindhavāyaiva jagmatuḥ ||
rathamārgapramāṇaṃ tu kaunteyo niśitaiḥ śaraiḥ ||
cakāra tatra panthānaṃ yayau yena janārdanaḥ ||
yatra yatra ratho yāti pāṇḍavasya mahātmanaḥ ||
tatra tatraiva dīryante senās tava viśāṃ pate ||

अनुवाद

While those armies, hungry for victory, were thus locked in battle, Arjuna and Vasudeva pressed on toward the lord of Sindhu. With sharp arrows the son of Kunti carved out there a path as wide as a chariot-road, the way by which Janardana drove. Wherever the chariot of the great-souled Pandava went, there your armies were split apart, O lord of the people.
