रथस्थितः क्रोशमात्रे यान् अस्यत्य् अर्जुनः शरान् ॥
रथे क्रोशम् अतिक्रान्ते तस्य ते घ्नन्ति शात्रवान् ॥
तार्क्ष्यमारुतरंहोभिर् वाजिभिः साधुवाहिभिः ॥
तथागच्छद् धृषीकेशः कृत्स्नं विस्मापयञ् जगत् ॥

rathasthitaḥ krośamātre yān asyaty arjunaḥ śarān ||
rathe krośam atikrānte tasya te ghnanti śātravān ||
tārkṣyamārutaraṃhobhir vājibhiḥ sādhuvāhibhiḥ ||
tathāgacchad dhṛṣīkeśaḥ kṛtsnaṃ vismāpayañ jagat ||

शब्दशः अर्थ

रथस्थितः क्रोशमात्रेrathasthitaḥ krośamātrestanding on the chariot, at the distance of a krosha; from the chariot, at a krosha
यान् अस्यति अर्जुनः शरान्yān asyati arjunaḥ śarānwhatever arrows Arjuna shoots; whatever arrows Arjuna shoots
रथे क्रोशम् अतिक्रान्तेrathe krośam atikrānte[when] the chariot had passed the krosha; when the chariot had passed the krosha
तस्य ते घ्नन्ति शात्रवान्tasya te ghnanti śātravānthose [arrows] of his strike down the enemies; those [arrows] of his strike down the enemies
तार्क्ष्यमारुतरंहोभिःtārkṣyamārutaraṃhobhiḥwith [horses] swift as Garuda and the wind; with horses swift as Garuda and the wind

अनुवाद

Standing on his chariot, whatever arrows Arjuna loosed at the distance of a krosha — by the time the chariot had passed that krosha, those arrows struck down the enemies. With horses swift as Garuda and the wind, running well, Hrishikesha drove on thus, astonishing the whole world.
