अवश्यं तु मया कार्यम् आत्मनः शोकनाशनम् ॥
स्माद् भीमं नियोक्ष्यामि सात्वस्य दानुगम्
तः प्रतिकृतं न्ये विधानं सात्यकिं प्रति
वं निश्चित्य सा र्मपुत्रो युधिष्ठिरः
न्तारम् ब्रवीद् राजन् भीमं प्रति स्व माम्
र्मराचः श्रुत्वा साथिर् कोविदः
थं हेरिष्कारं भीमान्तिकम् पायत्
भीसेनम् नुप्राप्य प्राप्तकालम् नुस्मरन्
श्मलं प्राविशद् राजा हु त्र मादिशन्

avaśyaṃ tu mayā kāryam ātmanaḥ śokanāśanam ||
tasmād bhīmaṃ niyokṣyāmi tvatasya panugam ||
tataḥ pratikṛtaṃ manye vidhānaṃ tyakiṃ prati ||
evaṃ niścitya mana dharmaputro yudhiṣṭhiraḥ ||
yantāram abrad rājan bhīmaṃ prati nayasva mām ||
dharmajavacaḥ śrutvā rathir hayakovidaḥ ||
rathaṃ hemapariṣkāraṃ bhīntikam unayat ||
bhīmasenam anuprāpya prāptalam anusmaran ||
kaśmalaṃ prāviśad rā bahu tatra sadiśan ||

अनुवाद

"Surely I must accomplish the destruction of my own grief; therefore I shall appoint Bhima to follow Satvata." Having thus resolved in his mind, the son of Dharma, Yudhishthira, said to the charioteer, O king: "Drive me to Bhima." Having heard the word of the King of Dharma, the charioteer, skilled with horses, brought the gold-adorned chariot close to Bhima.
