ओतमोतेन जानीयादनुज्ञातारमान्तरम्। अनुज्ञामद्वयं लब्ध्वा उपद्रष्टारमाव्रजेत्

अनुवाद
“The woven let him know by the weft, and through it — the consenter, the inner one; and, having obtained the permission, the non-dual, let him go to the Overseer.”

The book's last verse, and it gathers the whole uttara-tāpanī into four lines.
The four words that went through it as a riddle stand here in order: ota — “the woven”; anujñātṛ — “the consenter”; anujñā — “the permission”; upadraṣṭṛ — “the overseer”.
And for the first time they are not listed but built as a path.
First: otam otena jānīyāt — “know the woven by the weft”. That is, the world woven out of Him is known by the very thing it is woven of — consciousness.
Then through this one comes to know anujñātāram āntaram — “the consenter, the inner one”. Him who permits everything to be.
Then one obtains the permission itself, and it is named advayam, “non-dual”.
And at last — upadraṣṭāram āvrajet: “let him go to the Overseer”.
On this last word one should pause, for it decides the reading of the whole book.
Āvrajet — “let him come, let him set out”. A verb of motion, and of motion toward someone.
After all the negations, after the swallowing, after the “non-dual”, the book ends not with dissolution but with a coming. To oneself one does not go.
Let us look back over the way traversed. Prajāpati saw the mantra by austerity and created the world by it; the gods, frightened of death, begged it and overcame death; the mantra was parsed by words, by syllables, by power and seed; around it a circle of measures was drawn; thirty-two names called Him everything there is; and in the uttara the three states were swallowed by the fourth, and the demonic sin turned into light.
And it all ends with going to Him who watches.
