译文

Having thus spoken, the mighty-armed and greatly renowned [Bhurishravas], bearing the sacrificial-post banner, left Yuyudhana [Satyaki] and sat down on the battlefield in prāya [the vow of fasting unto death]. Strewing arrows with his left hand, marked with auspicious signs, wishing to depart to the world of Brahma, he offered his vital breaths as a sacrifice into the vital breaths. Fixing his gaze upon the sun, with his mind clear and immersed in the waters [of yoga], contemplating the great Upanishad, the sage became absorbed in yoga.
