Oṁ. The earth is food, and the waters are the eater; the waters are food, and light is the eater; light is food, and wind is the eater; wind is food, and space is the eater; space is food, and the senses are the eaters; the senses are food, and the mind is the eater; the mind is food, and reason is the eater; reason is food, and the unmanifest is the eater; the unmanifest is food, and the imperishable is the eater; the imperishable is food, and death is the eater. And death becomes one in the Highest God; beyond that — neither the existent, nor the non-existent, nor the existent-and-non-existent. Such is the teaching of nirvāṇa, such is the teaching of the Veda, such is the teaching of the Veda.
