अनुवाद
"And this match is fitting, and Subhadra is renowned, and such is this worthy Partha — therefore he carried her off by force; born in the lineage of Bharata and of the great-souled Shantanu, the son of the daughter of Kuntibhoja — who, if not Arjuna, would one wish for a son-in-law?"

Here the worthiness of the groom removes every reproach. It is telling that Krishna lists Arjuna's high lineage and valor: where the groom is so worthy, the match is an honor, not an offense. In this the Lord raises up His devotee in the eyes of those who doubted. So Scripture reveals praise for Arjuna; and the very anger turns into recognition.
