तथेत्य् उक्त्वा तु तौ वीरौ तं शर्वं पार्षदैः सह ॥
प्रस्थितौ तत् सरो दिव्यं दिव्याश्चर्यशतैर् वृतम् ॥
निर्दिष्टं यद् वृषाङ्केन पुण्यं सर्वार्थसाधकम् ॥
तज् जग्मतुर् असंभ्रान्तौ नरनारायणाव् ऋषी ॥
ततस् तु तत् सरो गत्वा सूर्यमण्डलसंनिभम् ॥
नागम् अन्तर्जले घोरं ददृशाते ऽर्जुनाच्युतौ ॥

译文

Having said "so be it" and [having honored] that Sharva together with his retinue, the two heroes set out toward that divine lake, surrounded by hundreds of divine wonders, indicated by the Bull-marked one, sacred, accomplishing all purposes; toward it went the unperturbed Nara and Narayana, [the two] sages. And, having come to that lake, resembling the disk of the sun, Arjuna and Achyuta beheld a terrible serpent in the water.
