न्तं विपुलां ज्वालां दृशाते ऽग्निर्चसम्
तः कृष्णश् पार्थश् संस्पृश्यापः कृताञ्जली
तौ नागाव् स्थाते स्यन्तौ वृध्वजम्
गृन्तौ वेविदुषौ तद् ब्रह्म रुद्रियम्
प्रमेयं प्रन्तौ त्वा र्वात्मना वम्

And a second, another serpent -- thousand-headed, excellent, belching vast flame, blazing like fire -- they beheld. Then Krishna and Partha, having touched water, with palms joined, approached those two serpents, honoring the Bull-bannered one, proclaiming, [both] knowers of the Vedas, that Brahman -- the Shatarudriya -- bowing to the immeasurable one, going with their whole being to Bhava.
