अथ व्यवस्थितान्दृष्ट्वा धार्तराष्ट्रान् कपिध्वजः ।
प्रवृत्ते शस्त्रसम्पाते धनुरुद्यम्य पाण्डवः ॥

atha vyavasthitān dṛṣṭvā dhārtarāṣṭrān kapidhvajaḥ |
pravṛtte śastrasampāte dhanur udyamya pāṇḍavaḥ ||

शस्त्रसम्पातेśastra-sampātein the clash of weapons, in the exchange of blows, when the arrows would fly.

पाण्डवःpāṇḍavaḥthe son of Pāṇḍu (Arjuna).
Translation
At that moment, seeing the sons of Dhṛtarāṣṭra arrayed in battle formation and the clash of weapons about to begin, the son of Pāṇḍu [Arjuna], on whose banner was the emblem of a monkey, raised his bow.
