सञ्जय उवाच ।
एवमुक्त्वाऽर्जुनः संख्ये रथोपस्थ उपाविशत् ।
विसृज्य सशरं चापं शोकसंविग्नमानसः ॥

evam uktvā 'rjunaḥ saṅkhye rathopastha upāviśat |
visṛjya saśaraṁ cāpaṁ śokasaṁvignamānasaḥ ||

शोकसंविग्नमानसःśoka-saṁvigna-mānasaḥone whose mind (manas) is overwhelmed (saṁvigna) by sorrow (śoka).
Translation
Sañjaya said: “Having spoken these words on the field of battle, Arjuna cast aside his bow and arrows and sank down onto the seat of the chariot, his mind overwhelmed with sorrow.”
