द्रव्ययज्ञास्तपोयज्ञा योगयज्ञास्तथापरे ।
स्वाध्यायज्ञानयज्ञाश्च यतयः संशितव्रताः ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

dravyayajñās tapoyajñā yogayajñās tathāpare |
svādhyāyajñānayajñāś ca yatayaḥ saṁśitavratāḥ ||

Translation

“Some, strictly adhering to their vows, perform sacrifice by giving away their possessions. Others sacrifice their comforts by undergoing severe austerities. Some practice the eightfold mystic yoga. And others, devoting themselves to the study of the Vedas, attain knowledge, sacrificing their ignorance.”
