Devanāgarī
अपाने जुह्वति प्राणं प्राणेऽपानं तथापरे ।
प्राणापानगती रुद्ध्वा प्राणायामपरायणाः ॥

apāne juhvati prāṇaṁ prāṇe 'pānaṁ tathāpare |
prāṇāpānagatī ruddhvā prāṇāyāmaparāyaṇāḥ ||

Translation
“Others, devoting themselves to prāṇāyāma, offer the outgoing breath (prāṇa) into the incoming breath (apāna), and the incoming into the outgoing. In the end, having completely stopped the movement of inhalation and exhalation, they become absorbed in trance.”
