चित्रसेनः सहामात्यो गन्धर्वाप्सरसस् तथा ॥
गीतवादित्रकुशलाः शम्यातालविशारदाः ॥
प्रमाणे ऽथ लयस्थाने किंनराः कृतनिश्रमाः ॥
संचोदितास् तुम्बुरुणा गन्धर्वाः सहिता जगुः ॥
गायन्ति दिव्यतानैस् ते यथान्यायं मनस्विनः ॥
पाण्डुपुत्रान् ऋषींश् चैव रमयन्त उपासते ॥

citrasenaḥ sahāmātyo gandharvāpsarasas tathā ||
gītavāditrakuśalāḥ śamyātālaviśāradāḥ ||
pramāṇe 'tha layasthāne kiṃnarāḥ kṛtaniśramāḥ ||
saṃcoditās tumburuṇā gandharvāḥ sahitā jaguḥ ||
gāyanti divyatānais te yathānyāyaṃ manasvinaḥ ||
pāṇḍuputrān ṛṣīṃś caiva ramayanta upāsate ||

Translation

"Chitrasena with his counselors, the gandharvas and apsaras, skilled in singing and music, expert in rhythm and tempo; the kinnaras, accomplished in measure and tempo, and the gandharvas, urged on by Tumburu, sang together. Being wise, they sing with divine melodies, as is proper, delighting the sons of Pandu and the sages, and attending upon them."
