त्रिभिर् भवद्भिर् हि विना नाहं जीवितुम् उत्सहे ॥
धर्मकामार्थरहितो रोगार्त इव दुर्गतः ॥
न शौरिणा विना पार्थो न शौरिः पाण्डवं विना ॥
नाजेयो ऽस्त्य् अनयोर् लोके कृष्णयोर् इति मे मतिः ॥

tribhir bhavadbhir hi vinā nāhaṃ jīvitum utsahe ||
dharmakāmārtharahito rogārta iva durgataḥ ||
na śauriṇā vinā pārtho na śauriḥ pāṇḍavaṃ vinā ||
nājeyo 'sty anayor loke kṛṣṇayor iti me matiḥ ||

Translation
"Without you three I am not able to live -- like a wretch afflicted by disease, deprived of dharma, kama, and artha. Neither does Partha [exist] without Shauri [Krishna], nor Shauri without the Pandava; there is no one in the world unconquerable for these two Krishnas, such is my opinion."

Here the indissoluble bond of Nara and Narayana -- Arjuna and Krishna -- shows itself. It is significant that they "do not exist" without one another: the eternal union of the devotee and the Lord is unconquerable, for where the Lord is, there is victory. Thus scripture shows the invincibility of God and devotee joined together; and further on -- of strength guided by wisdom.
