अपि सर्वेषु लोकेषु सेन्द्ररुद्रेषु मारिष ॥
स च नाम रथस् तादृङ् मदीयास् ते च वाजिनः ॥
योद्धा पार्थश् च शीघ्रास्त्रः को नु तेन समो भवेत् ॥

Here the Lord also reminds them of His friend's invincibility. It is telling that Krishna points out that no one can defeat Partha: prudence forbids starting a hopeless quarrel. Here the Lord turns His people away from a ruinous war by an argument from strength itself. So Scripture reveals Krishna's wisdom; and the threat of battle shows itself to be senseless.
