“absence of attachment and of the false sense of ownership toward children, wife, home, and the like; constant equanimity of mind in the face of desirable and undesirable events; (10) unwavering and undivided devotion to Me, attained through bhakti-yoga; a longing for secluded places and an aversion to worldly society; (11) constancy in self-realization and a philosophical vision of the Absolute Truth as the ultimate goal of all knowledge — all this I declare to be knowledge. Whatever is contrary to this is ignorance. (12)”
