वेणुवीणामृदङ्गानां मनोज्ञानां च सर्वशः ॥
शब्देनापूर्यते ह स्म तद् वनं सुसमृद्धिमत् ॥
तस्मिंस् तथा वर्तमाने कुरुदाशार्हनन्दनौ ॥
समीपे जग्मतुः कं चिद् उद्देशं सुमनोहरम् ॥

Translation

Here the friends seek solitude away from the noisy festivities. It is significant that Krishna and Arjuna withdraw to a quiet place: those close to one another seek not noise but quiet conversation together. The sweetest communion of the Lord and His devotee unfolds in solitude. Thus the scripture shows their withdrawal; and in the stillness they will give themselves to intimate conversation.
