अर्बुदः शक्रवापी च पन्नगौ शत्रुतापनौ ॥
स्वस्तिकस्यालयश् चात्र मणिनागस्य चोत्तमः ॥
अपरिहार्या मेघानां मागधेयं मणेः कृते ॥
कौशिको मणिमांश् चैव ववृधाते ह्य् अनुग्रहम् ॥
अर्थसिद्धिं त्व् अनपगां जरासंधो ऽभिमन्यते ॥
वयम् आसादने तस्य दर्पम् अद्य निहन्म हि ॥

arbudaḥ śakravāpī ca pannagau śatrutāpanau ||
svastikasyālayaś cātra maṇināgasya cottamaḥ ||
aparihāryā meghānāṃ māgadheyaṃ maṇeḥ kṛte ||
kauśiko maṇimāṃś caiva vavṛdhāte hy anugraham ||
arthasiddhiṃ tv anapagāṃ jarāsaṃdho 'bhimanyate ||
vayam āsādane tasya darpam adya nihanma hi ||

Translation

"Here are Arbuda and Shakravapi, two serpents that scorch their enemies, and the abode of Svastika, and the finest abode of Maninaga; for the sake of that jewel the clouds do not pass over the Magadhan land, and Kaushika and Manimat prospered by their favor. Jarasandha deems his good fortune unfailing; but we, having come upon him, shall today crush his pride."
