Translation

"But the lord Shauri [Krishna], O tiger among men, having recalled that king, the best of the strong, of tiger-like might — true to his vows, Achyuta, the bearer of the earth, [knowing] Jarasandha, terrible in might, [as] the portion assigned for slaying to another [Bhima] — did not Himself wish to kill [him], [He,] Madhusudana, foremost among the self-possessed, the younger brother of the plow-bearer [Balarama] — having honored the command of Brahma."
