आमन्त्रणार्थं दूतांस् त्वं प्रेषयस्वाशुगान् द्रुतम् ॥
उपश्रुत्य वचो राज्ञः स दूतान् प्राहिणोत् तदा ॥
आमन्त्रयध्वं राष्ट्रेषु ब्राह्मणान् भूमिपान् अपि ॥
विशश् च मान्याञ् शूद्रांश् च सर्वान् आनयतेति च ॥
ते सर्वान् पृथिवीपालान् पाण्डवेयस्य शासनात् ॥
आमन्त्रयां बभूवुश् च प्रेषयाम् आस चापरान् ॥

āmantraṇārthaṃ dūtāṃs tvaṃ preṣayasvāśugān drutam ||
upaśrutya vaco rājñaḥ sa dūtān prāhiṇot tadā ||
āmantrayadhvaṃ rāṣṭreṣu brāhmaṇān bhūmipān api ||
viśaś ca mānyāñ śūdrāṃś ca sarvān ānayateti ca ||
te sarvān pṛthivīpālān pāṇḍaveyasya śāsanāt ||
āmantrayāṃ babhūvuś ca preṣayām āsa cāparān ||

Translation

"Send out swift envoys at once for the invitations." Having heard the king's word, he dispatched envoys [with the charge]: "Invite, in the various kingdoms, brahmins and kings, vaishyas and honored shudras — bring them all." By the Pandava's command, they invited all the lords of the earth and sent out further envoys.
