"A Lamp for the Worship of Rādhā and Kṛṣṇa" — Jīva Gosvāmī's short treatise on why the people of Vraja should worship Dāmodara together with Rādhā. Step by step, from the Bhāgavatam, the Viṣṇu and Padma Purāṇas, the Tantras and his own Sandarbhas, Jīva shows that serving the Lord's devotees matters more than serving the Lord alone; that the cowherd women of Vraja stand above all devotees; that they are forms of his own power of bliss, hlādinī; and that Rādhā is the first among them. It ends: "Some worship Umā and Maheśvara, others Lakṣmī and Nārāyaṇa — we worship Rādhā and Dāmodara."
