“Those who study the three Vedas, drink the soma juice, and are cleansed of sins worship Me through sacrifices, praying for the path to heaven. Having attained the pious realm of Indra, they enjoy divine pleasures of the devas in the heavens. (20) But, having enjoyed this vast heavenly realm and exhausted the store of their piety, they return once more to the world of mortals. Thus those who follow the rituals of the three Vedas in pursuit of sense enjoyment obtain only the endless cycle of birth and death. (21)”
