स तु तां नैष्ठिकीं बुद्धिं कृत्वा पार्थो युधिष्ठिरः ॥
गुरुवद् भूतगुरवे प्राहिणोद् दूतम् अञ्जसा ॥
शीघ्रगेन रथेनाशु स दूतः प्राप्य यादवान् ॥
द्वारकावासिनं कृष्णं द्वारवत्यां समासदत् ॥

Translation
Having made that final resolve, Partha Yudhishthira at once sent a messenger — as to a guru, to the Guru of all beings; and by a swift chariot that messenger, having reached the Yadavas, found Krishna dwelling there in Dvaravati.

Here Krishna is called the "Guru of all beings," and the king sends to Him "as to a guru." It is significant that for his most important decision Yudhishthira turns to the Lord as the supreme teacher: the teacher of all is God Himself. Thus scripture reveals Krishna as the supreme guru; and He Himself hastens to His devotee.
