Here the righteous king does not pretend to be all-knowing, but humbly asks. It is telling that Yudhishthira, himself wise, turns his question to the sage: true knowledge is not ashamed to learn. Scripture thus shows humility before wisdom as an ornament even of a king; and Narada now reveals the fruit of each.
