The invocation is addressed to three names of the quaternity at once: Kṛṣṇa, Pradyumna, Aniruddha.
The litany proceeds by alternation: breath — name — breath — name. After apāna these three are named; after samāna Rāma will be named, after udāna "the son of Devakī".
The sense of this alternation was already explained in mantra 69, where the four are matched to the parts of the syllable OṀ, and Kṛṣṇa to the half-sound in which the syllable ends. Here the same thing is accomplished not by argument but by utterance.
Note that the names stand in the dative: not "Kṛṣṇa is such-and-such" but "to Kṛṣṇa" — that is, to whom the bow is made. The book's theology turns, toward its close, into address.
And note the order: Kṛṣṇa is named first, as in mantra 60, where He said of Himself "I am Gopāla, I am Pradyumna".
