दूरेण ह्यवरं कर्म बुद्धियोगाद्धनञ्जय ।
बुद्धौ शरणमन्विच्छ कृपणाः फलहेतवः ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

dūreṇa hy avaraṁ karma buddhiyogād dhanañjaya |
buddhau śaraṇam anviccha kṛpaṇāḥ phalahetavaḥ ||

Translation

“O Dhanañjaya, action for the sake of fruits is far inferior to action in buddhi-yoga. Therefore seek refuge in this divine consciousness. Wretched is the one who craves the fruits of his labor.”
