विशश्राम शुकस्तूष्णीं स्वस्थे परमवस्तुनि वीतशोकभयायासो निरीहश्छिन्नसंशयः

Translation
Śuka silently came to rest in the self-standing supreme reality — without grief, fear or strain, without undertakings, his doubt cut asunder.

The verb viśaśrāma is from the same root as viśrānti, the “repose” Śuka begged in 2.35: “with thee I shall find rest”.
He found it. The request was fulfilled to the letter.
Note the list of what is no more: grief, fear, strain (āyāsa — effort, exertion), undertakings. And the last — chinna-saṃśaya, “doubt cut asunder”.
The doubt did not dissolve of itself, nor was it refuted by argument. It is cut — as one cuts a knot.
And one word more: tūṣṇīm, “silently”. Śuka answered Janaka nothing. Neither thanks nor question.
Having received what he came for, he fell silent.
