सुहृष्टः सुदृढः स्वच्छः सुक्रान्तः सुप्रबोधितः स्वगुणेनोर्जितो भाति हृदि हृद्यो मनोमणिः

Translation
“Merry, firm, transparent, far-striding, well-awakened, mighty in its own virtue — the dear gem of the mind shines in the heart.”

The mind is named a gem, and this is the highest praise the book gives it.
Recall 4.12, where the Highest was described as a gem: it lies without desires, and around it is movement. Now the same word is said of the mind.
Note the six epithets, all with the prefix su- — “good, well”: su-hṛṣṭa, su-dṛḍha, su-krānta, su-prabodhita.
The piling-up is deliberate. The book seems in haste to say as much good of the mind as it can, making up for all the chapters of abuse.
Hṛdi hṛdyaḥ — “dear in the heart”. Wordplay almost childlike: hṛd and hṛdya.
Sva-guṇena ūrjita — “strengthened by its own virtue”. Not by borrowed lustre.
The verse deserves remembering as the counterweight to all that was said of the mind before the fifth chapter.
