यत्तु कृत्स्नवदेकस्मिन्कार्ये सक्तमहैतुकम् ।
अतत्त्वार्थवदल्पं च तत्तामसमुदाहृतम् ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

yat tu kṛtsnavad ekasmin kārye saktam ahaitukam |
atattvārthavad alpaṁ ca tat tāmasam udāhṛtam ||

Translation

“But that knowledge which makes a person cling to one kind of activity as though it were all-important, which is without rational basis, does not accord with the truth, and is trivial in essence — that is called knowledge in the mode of ignorance.”
