मूत्रतश् चासृजच् चापि यवनान् क्रोधमूर्च्छिता ॥
पुण्ड्रान् किरातान् द्रमिडान् सिंहलान् बर्बरांस् तथा ॥
तथैव दरदान् म्लेच्छान् फेनतः सा ससर्ज ह ॥

Translation
"Overcome by rage, she brought forth from her tail the Pahlavas, from her dung the Shabaras and Shakas, from her urine the Yavanas; and from her foam the Pundras, Kiratas, Dramidas, Simhalas, Barbaras, Daradas, and other Mlecchas."

Here a wonder reveals itself, born of the power of Brahman -- whole armies brought forth from a single cow. Telling is it that the power of austerity can fashion warriors out of nothing: behind the meek ascetic stands a might surpassing the armies of kings. Here it is shown that spiritual power can do more than all material force combined: a single saint overcomes an army. (The list of peoples here is not a judgment upon nations but an image of a countless host summoned by a wonder.) Thus scripture shows the greatness of brahma-tejas; and Vasishtha's cow raises against the king hosts born of her own wrath.
