क्षणेन चाभवद् व्योम संप्रशान्तरजस्तमः ॥
सुखशीतानिलगुणं प्रकृतिस्थार्कमण्डलम् ॥
निष्प्रतीकारहृष्टश् च हुतभुग् विविधाकृतिः ॥
प्रजज्वालातुलार्चिष्मान् स्वनादैः पूरयञ् जगत् ॥

Translation
"And in an instant the sky became one where dust and darkness had settled, with a cool pleasant breeze, with the solar disc in its natural state; and the fire, rejoicing at the absence of hindrance, manifold in form, blazed up with incomparable tongues of flame, filling the world with its roars."

Here, once the obstacle is removed, fire regains its freedom. It is significant that Agni rejoices at having beaten back the rain: removing the hindrance lets the deed be accomplished. Here it is seen how the heroes' aid fulfilled the god's request. Thus the scripture reveals Agni's triumph; and the blaze, unchecked by anything, flares up once more.
