विश्वसृज एतेन वै विश्वमिदमसृजन्त यद्विश्वमसृजन्त तस्माद्विश्वसृजो विश्वमेनाननु प्रजायते ब्रह्मणः सलोकतां सार्ष्टितां सायुज्यं यान्ति तस्मादिदं साङ्गं साम जानीयाद्यो जानीते सोऽमृतत्वं च गच्छति
viśvasṛja etena vai viśvamidamasṛjanta yadviśvamasṛjanta tasmādviśvasṛjo viśvamenānanu prajāyate brahmaṇaḥ salokatāṃ sārṣṭitāṃ sāyujyaṃ yānti tasmādidaṃ sāṅgaṃ sāma jānīyādyo jānīte so'mṛtatvaṃ ca gacchati
The creators of the universe created this world by this very chant; and since by it they created the universe, they are called creators of the universe, and the world is born after them. They attain with Brahman same-worldness, same-lordship and union. Therefore let him know this chant with all its limbs; who knows attains immortality.

A paragraph about those who created the world, and about how they ended.
Viśva-sṛj — “creators of the universe”; so are called the first to whom Prajāpati handed over the work of fashioning. And it is said: they created “by this very” — that is, by this chant.
This returns us to the second paragraph, where Prajāpati created everything by the mantra he had seen. Now the same is said of his successors: their instrument was one.
Then three measures of closeness are named, and this is an ancient list: sālokya — “same-worldness”, dwelling in one world with Him; sārṣṭi — “same-lordship”, equality in possession; sāyujya — “union”.
Usually two more are added — sāmīpya, “nearness”, and sārūpya, “likeness of form” — and all five are called the kinds of liberation.
Note that the Vaiṣṇava tradition has always singled out from these five not the last. Union stands in the list above the rest, but not above in savour: in it there is no one left to rejoice, and no one to rejoice with.
The book here lists three without discrimination and does not argue. That argument will come later, with Baladeva and his predecessors; here it is said only that the world's creators did not remain at their trade.
