तद्वा एतत्परमं धाम मन्त्रराजाध्यापकस्य यत्र न सूर्यस्तपति यत्र न वायुर्वाति यत्र न चन्द्रमा भाति यत्र न नक्षत्राणि भान्ति यत्र नाग्निर्दहति यत्र न मृत्युः प्रविशति यत्र न दुःखं सदानन्दं परमानन्दं शान्तं शाश्वतं सदाशिवं ब्रह्मादिवन्दितं योगिध्येयं परमं पदं यत्र गत्वा न निवर्तन्ते योगिनः
tadvā etatparamaṃ dhāma mantrarājādhyāpakasya yatra na sūryastapati yatra na vāyurvāti yatra na candramā bhāti yatra na nakṣatrāṇi bhānti yatra nāgnirdahati yatra na mṛtyuḥ praviśati yatra na duḥkhaṃ sadānandaṃ paramānandaṃ śāntaṃ śāśvataṃ sadāśivaṃ brahmādivanditaṃ yogidhyeyaṃ paramaṃ padaṃ yatra gatvā na nivartante yoginaḥ
And that is the highest abode of the teacher of the king of mantras — where the sun does not burn, where the wind does not blow, where the moon does not shine, where the stars do not gleam, where fire does not burn, where death does not enter, where there is no sorrow; ever-blissful, supremely blissful, tranquil, everlasting, ever-benign, revered by Brahmā and the rest, contemplated by yogins — the highest abode, whither having gone, yogins do not return.

The summit of the whole book, and it is described first by negations alone.
Where the sun does not burn, the wind does not blow, the moon does not shine, the stars do not gleam, fire does not burn, death does not enter, there is no sorrow.
The list is built of what upholds this world: the luminaries, the elements, death. And all of it is named absent.
The Kaṭha Upaniṣad says the same and more briefly: “there shines neither sun, nor moon, nor stars, nor these lightnings, and fire does not shine; everything shines after Him shining, and by His light all this shines.”
Then — and here the book turns — come not negations but names: ever-blissful, supremely blissful, tranquil, everlasting, ever-benign.
This is what I spoke of in examining the fourteenth paragraph of the fourth Upaniṣad. Negations take away the way of grasping, not the content; and each time good follows them.
Note sadāśivam — “ever-benign”. This word is also the name of Sadāśiva, and it stands in a Vaiṣṇava book without any embarrassment.
And the last: yatra gatvā na nivartante — “whither having gone, they do not return”. A turn from the Gītā, where it describes the abode “having reached which, they do not return”.
