Oṁ. He who is the God Nṛsiṃha — He is the Lord, and He is the Virāṭ-Puruṣa. Earth, mid-air, heaven! To him be bow upon bow.

The thirtieth name is Virāṭ Puruṣa, “the Shining-forth Puruṣa”: the gross body of the universe.
To him is referred the famous hymn of the thousand-headed one, and him the Māṇḍūkya calls Vaiśvānara — the first foot of the Ātman, waking and enjoying the gross.
We read that foot in the fourth paragraph of this very Upaniṣad, where it was described in numbers: seven limbs, nineteen gates.
That is, the litany returns to what has already been examined and calls it by His name.
Note that the name of the Puruṣa stands twice in the list: in the eighteenth paragraph simply puruṣa, here virāṭ puruṣa.
The first is spirit in general; the second — the universe as a body. Between them twenty-five names have found room.
