यदा हि नेन्द्रियार्थेषु न कर्मस्वनुषज्जते ।
सर्वसङ्कल्पसंन्यासी योगारूढस्तदोच्यते ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

yadā hi nendriyārtheṣu na karmasv anuṣajjate |
sarva-saṅkalpa-sannyāsī yogārūḍhas tadocyate ||

Translation

“When a person is no longer attached to the objects of the senses or to the fruits of his actions, and has renounced all saṅkalpas [plans born of the false ego], then he is said to have attained the stage of yoga.”
