सुहृन्मित्रार्युदासीनमध्यस्थद्वेष्यबन्धुषु ।
साधुष्वपि च पापेषु समबुद्धिर्विशिष्यते ॥

suhṛn-mitrāry-udāsīna-madhyastha-dveṣya-bandhuṣu |
sādhuṣv api ca pāpeṣu samabuddhir viśiṣyate ||

“One who regards well-wishers, friends, enemies, the envious, mediators, the hateful, and relatives alike, as well as the righteous and the sinful, — such a person of equal intelligence is considered the most exalted.”
