कच्चिन्नोभयविभ्रष्टश्छिन्नाभ्रमिव नश्यति ।
अप्रतिष्ठो महाबाहो विमूढो ब्रह्मणः पथि ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
kaccin nobhaya-vibhraṣṭaś chinnābhram iva naśyati |
apratiṣṭho mahābāho vimūḍho brahmaṇaḥ pathi ||

अप्रतिष्ठःapratiṣṭhaḥwithout support, deprived of shelter.
महाबाहोmahā-bāhoO mighty-armed one!

ब्रह्मणः पथिbrahmaṇaḥ pathion the path (pathi) to Brahman.
Translation
“O mighty-armed one, does it not happen that such a person, deprived of support and bewildered on the path to Brahman, falls from both paths and perishes like a scattered cloud?”
