तथैव तस्य मन्त्रस्य यस्याणुश्च स्वङेन्तया । एवं त्रिकोणरूपं स्यात्तं देवा ये समाययुः

So too of this mantra, which has its subtlest part; and so the triangular form arises, to which the gods assembled.

The verse binds two things that till now went separately: the form and the mantra.
It is said that the triangle belongs not only to the visible image but “so too to the mantra”: it has its aṇu — “the subtlest”, the seed syllable — and around it the same figure is composed.
Thereby the three links of the first Upaniṣad are closed: the form — the mantra — the yantra. One and the same thing is tripled: Rāma with Sītā and Lakṣmaṇa; the syllable with its two surrounding parts; the triangle on the diagram.
The transmission of the text is damaged here — the second quarter of the verse is corrupted in our witnesses and yields no exact reading. The general sense, however, is clear and is confirmed by what stands before and after.
The last line introduces something new: “to him the gods assembled”. The scene begins which the tradition remembers well — the celestials come to Rāma. The next five verses will be their praise, and it is the only direct prayer in the book.
