Oṁ. He who is Śrī-Rāmacandra — He is the Lord, and He is he who is the Oṁkāra. Earth, mid-air, heaven! To him be bow upon bow.

The thirty-ninth mantra names the Oṁkāra — the syllable Oṁ.
The whole book has been moving to this. The thirteenth verse of the fourth Upaniṣad of the pūrva already bowed to Him as the Oṁkāra; the fortieth verse set the two syllables “tāra” in the very middle of the diagram; the second chapter of the uttara parsed the six-syllable mantra and found in it the same parts as in Oṁ, and then cited the Māṇḍūkya entire.
Here all this is compressed into two words.
Note that the syllable is named neither an instrument nor a name, but He Himself. The difference is the same as in the first Upaniṣad between the signifier and the signified — and we remember that there both proved to be Rāma.
The next mantra will name the four half-measures of the syllable, that is, its last portions; and with that the book's analysis of Oṁ will end.
I will add: this mantra's place is thirty-ninth, almost at the list's end. The doxology went from Brahman downward through the worlds and has returned to the syllable out of which the worlds come.
