“Exceeding by crores upon crores among the mantras of Gaṇapati and the rest — this six-syllable mantra gives its fruit without effort.”

The verse continues the comparison and adds to it the word for whose sake it was written: anāyāsa — “without effort, without toil”.
This is the chief thing said of it.
Recall with what labour worship was hedged in the pūrva-tāpanī: the purification of the elements, the nyāsa, the diagram with a dozen circles, the eight verses of secret code, the forty-seven letters of the mālā-mantra. The sixty-seventh verse of the fourth Upaniṣad named all this outright a secret “hard of access even for the Lord”.
And here it is said: without effort.
There is no contradiction, if one remembers the book's order. The complex was described first and given to the mantrin — to him to whom it is entrusted. The simple is said last and given to all.
The same step we saw at the end of the pūrva-tāpanī, where after all the prohibitions it was said: “who reads these verses obtains liberation”.
The number koṭi-koṭi — “crores of crores”, that is, a hundred trillion — in the śāstras means simply “incomparably”. There is nothing here to count.
