तद्भक्ता ये लब्धकामांश्च भुक्त्वा तथा पदं परमं यान्ति ते च । इमा ऋचः सर्वकामार्थदाश्च ये ते पठन्त्यमला यान्ति मोक्षम्

The pūrva-tāpanī ends, and ends with the word bhakta.
This is its second appearance in the book: the first was in the twentieth verse of the fourth Upaniṣad, beside Hanumān. Then we noted that the word should be remembered; and here it has returned — in the last line.
Of the devotees something is said that deserves careful reading: labdha-kāmān bhuktvā — “having enjoyed the desired things they obtained” — and then “they attain the highest abode”.
That is, the desired was given them, and they made use of it. The book does not demand that the asker first renounce his asking.
But the order is stated plainly: first they enjoyed, then went further. What was received did not hold them.
In this is the whole sober view these books take of human desire. It is not condemned and not declared a hindrance; it is fulfilled — and proves not to be the end of the road.
The last line is addressed now directly to us: “those who recite them, made stainless, go to liberation”. Not the drawer of the yantra, not the holder of the code, not the mantrin — the reader.
Four Upaniṣads in a row said that the secret must not be passed to the unenlightened. And now the book ends by saying that for the reader reading is enough.
Here the pūrva-tāpanī ends. The uttara-tāpanī will begin otherwise — with the gods' question to Brahmā about who Rāma is.
